Hi, I’m Ken Steimle — artist, educator, husband, and father. My journey with art as an expressive for of communication began as a shy middle schooler who was terrified to speak up. One day, I asked my mom how to start a conversation with someone new, and she said, “Just say hi.” That simple phrase changed everything. It opened the door to curiosity, connection, and ultimately a lifelong pursuit of understanding human expression — through both words and art.

Today, I teach elementary students to see the world through creativity while raising two amazing boys, Milo and Hudson, with my wife Alison. My artwork explores deep themes like faith, rejection, and healing, including my current series, Shining Light. At the core of everything I do are three pillars: faith, family, and commitment. These values give me the courage to take risks with my art and the joy to stay present in the process. I'm here to help others discover their own creative voice — and it all starts with a simple hello.
